I was talking to one of my y8 crewmembers about inspace docking today. And then suddenly, i came to the idea about letting it serve as one of those stations you can sell your resources too.
The owner of the ship sets the buy price. And then everyone within range can sell it to him/her, using /comm
The ship itself can still be used for mining too. (to make time go faster while you are buying 
)
