Just wondering what components you guys think I should use on my heavy-x?

What area should I use high level components and what areas should I uses lower level to save mass?

Also are there any advantages to flying the A-wing? it seems like the heavy-x is the way to go since the A-wing is only 65k mass.

Even the jedi-fighter has more mass than the a-wing. Cant seem to figure out why people are flying them...

Help mr out, thanks.

For my customers on Chimaera I start of with the following, then they change the parts for RE when they get them - Link to Heavy X-Wing -

also check out the loadouts on spaceloot web site to see what others have used.

Though this took some doing, I find this loadout does the job nicely. I have a RE'd level 8 reward shield, 3 RE'd level 8 reward cannons, a RE'd level 10 engine (sweet YPR 83+, speed 99.4, 41k mass), a RE'd reward level 6 cap that's 46 recharge, 1218 storage, 7224 mass, a really nice RE'd level 2 reactor with 1910 mass and 13905 output, a Mark IV proton launcher, a prenerf DI, chaff launcher, and lightweight crafted Mark II armor.
