Just came back to SWG and I'm liking this space adventuring!! Couple questions thoough:
How do you scuttle your ship? What happens? Is using an escape pod the same thing?
I qualify for y-wing, how do you get one? The z-95 just don't cut it for upgradability.
Willthe space station repair option repair upgraded parts? And what's with the repair kit options on the parts radial menu? Do i need to buy these kits?
How do you disable another ships components instead of destroying it?
Where can I find stats on ships and components so I can do some comparing?

Scuttle = Escape pod.
Get a Heavy Z-95, better than the Y-Wing if you can load it right.
Space station repair repairs everything, regardless or how you got it. You need to buy the repair kits for repairing parts. There are part-specific kits or All-purpose kits.
Press the brackets ([ and ]) to target specific components. For capital ships you have to be able to directly hit the part.
You can use the vondor search, that's what I do.
