Thread: Having problems with Y-8 quest

I'm working on the part of the quest where you need to get the iron from a disabled freighter using the tractor beam.
Problem is when I use the tractor beam only on the freighter nothing happens, I get a message that says "Incrementing count!" after a while the freighter just blows up and I don't get the message that the mission failed, I head back to Kashyyk space and then get the message for failing for leaving Corellian space. I pickup the mission again and the same thing happens.
Can anyone explain what it is that I'm doing wrong? Or is this just another one of our favorite bugs in the game?

sounds like bug cause i completed that soon as ship blew up, pre pub 24 but my game comp blew up too so waiting for parts so i can finish y-8
but now not sure if want to found out y-8 dont have loot box so much for uber loot ship)

I just finished this today. Did you destroy all of the enemy fighters?
