I found the interceptor to be more useful for grinding. While it's true that you can slap pretty much every piece of equipment you have access to onto a bomber, the whole "handles like a dead cow" thing puts a pretty big crimp on grinding against the smaller, more maneuverable fighters you'll usually face in duty missions or the decently fast spawns.

Interceptor's nearly useless unless you already have a slew of exceptional RE'dparts...a scenario not typical for grinding. Go with the bomber.

i used my heavy tie till i was able to get a defender. now at master i use my intercepter more. the bomber i put on blocks in the front yard.

Why not the Advanced? It has two gun mounts plus decent handling. I'd really love to try flying one

I really recommend searching under the Misc category for old ship deeds on the bazaar and global vendor search. Try out each of the ships. Some people swear the Bomber is a great ship to level in, but the two of us never got along.

I used the Bomber in the notion that tanks on the ground post-cu are awesome so they must be good in space.....if you don't mind your ship moving like a sleepy Hutt that is!! lol!!!

hey what about the tie/in the 40k mass makes it uber

the development of that ship proves the emperor is on crack,

but i must say i have been pondering the idea of outfitting 1.

speakin of being on crack, the &/#%&/#%& who designed the tier 4 storm squadron missions should be kicked in the nuts

to answer the topic... try an TIE advanced when you can.. same agility as the interceptor with 15k more mass and 2 guns ^_^
