Thread: The Ship [email protected] now with 'WO3 as intended' capability

The Ship Registry at spaceLoot.com is open and ready for testing.

I've put in one of my ships so far - reviewing the record should tell you everything you need to know about what the app does.

Some may feel obligated to point out that something similar already exists and that I should be a good community developer and share my dataset and rewrite the whole thing in SOAP so that it'll be fully accessible to Mongolian turnip farmers. I'll be good, I promise.

I'd appreciate it if some of you with famous ships would submit your loadouts. It doesn't take long - I suspect many will be able to do it from memory. Blackjack IX, Adonis' KSE, and the Phoenix (which now exists Kayl?) would all be prized additions.

If you're interested in getting feedback on your ship, it's easy to deep-link directly to the profile. There's even a mini-app, available from the 'sigify' link on your ship administration screen, that'll make clickies for you.

I'm confident that people will have many suggestions for how the app can be expanded and improved. I look forward to hearing them.

Oh goodie. I can post my heavy (TIE, Scyk, Z95 depending on the week) and make everyone else feel really good about what they are flying.

The addition of acomment field to explain certain choices on some of the more extreme loadouts would be good. Would also alllow people who are still working on their ship to post theirs and tell what they're working towards.

Wow, you've done an incredible amount of work. Someone PM this to Garva for inclusion in the weekly forum pics.

First - to everyone that tried to submit ships already - thanks! And wow, I hadn't expected to get this many entries overnight!

Second - meh, I'm totally embarrassed about that bug. It was a simple thing, but totally brought the process to a grinding halt. I've just repaired it, but had to delete the minimal entries that were created thus far. I've just walked through a complete test submission process and didn't get any further errors, so please don't hesitate to come back and resubmit. And again, I'm really sorry for the hassle.

With enough community support this could be to SWG as Magelo Profiles are to Everquest. Sounds likea great idea!

I've additional code to the capacitor section for shunting information. You specify your capacitor statistics, your overcharge level and your shunt level, and it will tell you your max shunt, as well as your asap re-shunt amounts under various fire conditions.

I even put a clickifier in there for ya Leaph, so it'll be easy to update.
