i stopped flying for a few months after being sent out on hijack or escort missions and having to follow the target through a cloud of random spawns 3 or 4 levels above me. getting blown up repeatedly with absolutely no reward or no chance of winning just got old after a while.
so i've started flying again. its a couple months later and i don't see anyone complaining about it on the forums any more.
but no! rebel base on dant gives me a hijack mission that, after i capture the Imperial ship, flies me through a cloud of 3 "force assasins" level 3 and 4 and i'm destroyed quite easily, being tier 1. yay.
has everyone else just learned which ones are impossible and now avoids them? or is there some other workaround i just haven't seen? or am i screwed?
i'm just gonna assume i'm screwed for now.

Some missions will intentionally bring you through waves of higher tier enemies, if you take the direct route. The trick is to stay 1200-1500 meters away from any red radar dot. It's a good idea to have your radar set to at least 2K range (I have it at 4K range), as this will help yo uudiscover your enemies before they agro you. If you're still haveing troubles, don't forget you IFF scramble (I think you get it at the first pilot tricks box). Sometimes it's better to run and live to fight another day. If everything else fails, bring a few friends for that mission.
