Well if you couldnt tell by the subject I am a new player to SWG and I need some help pretty please. Im decided to become a pilot for the Imperial and in great LD experience my plane was damaged bad. So what im trying to say is where can i get repair kits from to fix my plane? Im currently in Bestine on Tatooine. Any help would be appreciated.

Can you launch your ship, or is it too badly damaged? If you can still launch it, fly to the nearest space station, and one of the conversation options is to repair your ship.

Yeah its too badly damaged to launch it and I cant find a dang place to fix it at.

I believe that if your still still tier 1 then you can destroy the ship from your datapad and the trainer will give you a brand new one.

If it's the Light Duty TIE, destroy it as above (pull any non-prototype parts first). To fly, you need engine and reactor only. You MIGHT have a repair kit you haven't noticed, I know I started with one...

Yes, all new characters start with a 1k All Purpose Ship Reapir Kit. That's why I was asking what server he is on. One of us could make a new toon on that server if it wasn't one of ours and pass him the kit.

To answer the intitial question, Master Merchant can make a general ship repair kit. Shipwright can make individual component repair kits to handle engine and reactor to get you launched. You might want to check Vendor Search on the Bazzar to see if anyone on the planet is selling them. Because of lack of demand, most Shipwrights do not stock them. I do not know if Merchants do because I am not one. If you are still using the starter ship, just destroy it and get a new one from the trainer.
