Hey, I picked up a simply beautiful prenerfdroid interfacethat some noob most likely sold on the baz terms. It cost me a whopping 7500 credits and its stats are as follows.
Reactor Drain: 500
Mass:500
Droid speed (forgot what its called) 30
I instantly realised that this was a good pickup since my regular x-wing is loaded down by high quality, low mass parts, except for the reactor, shield generator and missle launcher. Anyway what is the value of a droid interface like this. I'm working on getting my advanced x-wing so chances are with its increased mass I won't be needing this low mass part.

Dude, I hate to break this to you, but 30 isn't a good speed for a DI. Lower is better.

I hate to break it to ya, but that's not a Prenerf ... the lower the speed the better. A Prenerf would have the same stats execpt with a speed lower than 20. (Mine's 14.8)

that isnt prenerf mate.
I had 2 of them when they where nerfed and when I REed the 16 speed one it went up to about 30 (nerf speeds) however i still have a 18 speed one which does my Xwing.
I have a load of parts for my advanced but this mission is still bugged and I will have more than enough mass for a high mass low speed one, plus, 3 exp blasters, a mark 4 proton launcher, a seriously cool shield and a nuts level 10 engine (the engine is good enough for me too PvP JSFs in my Ywing!). Just got to get that chassis though!

Its not even a pre-nerf, you would be looking at ~15 speed not 30. So moral of the story, the noob you aremake fun of, sold some trash droid interface x7 its initial value to you.

Still, that's not a bad level 1. It's got decent mass, drain, and delay for it's level.

As everyone already told you, that's not pre-nerf.
Buy a crafted droid interface from a good SW. In almost all cases, post-nerf looted and REd droid interfaces are terrible. My DIs look like this:
Mark I 420 mass 25 speed
Mark II 1k mass 20 speed
Mark III 2.6k mass 17.7 speed
Mark IV 6.6k mass 14.7 speed

i'm still confused on the DI speed....
so if you use a 14 spd DI, is a level 6 flight computer faster or slower than a level 5 flight comp?
EDIT: doh...ok, checking FAQ's

The level of the flight computer only affects the size of its datapad for holding programs. It has no effect on speed. A level 5 and 6 flight computer will perform the same programs at the exact same speed.

Gizmarke, that's the way its supposed to be, but for all commands it is droid speed.
All overloads run at droid speed x 5

Only time I ever saw one it was up for 5 mil... never seen one again. Guess I should have grabbed it.
