No, the ship will never be completely destroyed. 10 is the least amount of chassis HP you can have left.

It does make you easier to get killed however, so theres a reason to try not to get blown up and have your chassis degrade.

Though the truth be known, all you have to do is get your beat up, broke down Advanced X-wing over to Deep space then hyperspace out. All fixed good as NEW. We typicaly don't talk of such things. (GOD FORBID THEY TAKE IT AWAY FOR MASTER PILOTS! (PVP IS SLOW NOW AS IT IS!))

But go to deep space and jump out.

(Ohh also you can start to jump out before you go in. (just start to jump and then go in). and when you load into DS. you have about 10 seconds before you jump back out again))
