okay, I log in today and all of a sudden my targetting reticule is moving around the screen.

Previously it was fixed in the center of the screen, now it kinda floats as I bank and turn. How the heck do I get it back?

I've tried several things from the options menu but no dice...

Thanks in advance.

Hit the numberlock button on the keypad of your keyboard. You know the one where if you hit it on the ground it will make you auto run? The one right above #7........ On mine at least. That should fix you right up!

No go on the numlock or the chase camera. Btw I use chase camera all the time so I know it's not the +/-.

numlock didn't seem to do a thing. Just for grins I disabled autorun via options but no help there either.

I did notice without the chase camera (in cockpit) my reticule was fixed in the center of the screen. How do I get that mode when my POV is outside the cockpit.

HELP?

As far as I know, when in chase mode, the reticle will move around the screen. That's (imo) the best part of the chase camera, since I use that to my advantage when trying to track an A-Wing. It seems to provide more flexibilty of motion, but that could just be me.

One other thing I noted, is that my graphics options were reset last night. If you made changes, you might have to re-make them...

I think I figured this out. I was playing with the slider bar on the POV Hat mode. After minimizing it the reticule stays centered and my ship 'drifts' around the screen. I think it's a matter of personal preference.

the mode I really didn't like is when the targetting reticule moved OFF the screen and I'm staring at the side of my ship in a dogfight. This novice pilot isn't quite ready for that style of fighting.
