Thread: RSF Tier 4, Mission 2 Bugged??

Okay - on the second mission for tier four of the RSF, you are asked to inspect a heavy freighter - easy job... except I believe it is bugged. I inspect it, even dock, but nothing happens - the mission doesn't update, and it is still in my quest journal...
Any workarounds would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

This would probably be the same issue as in the post above labelled "Help!! Privateer tier 4 2nd mission" ... try there.

I dunno if this is still a problem for folks. I had the same problem. What I ended up doing wasleaving the missions/failing it, went back and landed,and loaded acargohold into my ship, but I dunno if that actually affected the issue. I went back started the mission again, docked with the first cargo ship, after inspecting it, got cargo, but nothing change so Idestroyedit. Then another cargo ship entered at the WP, inspected it, gota message this was the right ship,docked, got the cargo, and went on to the rest of the mission, and completed the mission.

yah lol, my old post, good times. anyway, I don't know if it is a workaround or it is meant to be like this, but the answer is simple: if your first freighter doesn't have the intended cargo, shoot it down, and wait for another one to spawn (should be a few minutes). Keep doing it until your cargo shows up (it ended up to by my 3rd or 4th try), anddock up. Should be that simple.

there are 3 possable cargos... you have to destroy the ship untill you get one that has electronic components. It respawns quickly. just be patient.
