I'd wait. The mass is still a bit high, and the drain will hurt you later if you want to use EO4.

Yea, wait, that mass is quite a way too high, wait till you find a 23k-24k and a 1.3k-1.4k RED.

I would agree with the other posts to wait. This is what I've gotten in about the same amount of time. I also search the vendors often to find jems that are for sale.

These are Pre-RE numbers and still waiting to pickup a Nym's StarMap engine (hoping for a little better speed).

Armor/HP: 817.7

Energy: 1506.5 (Want to get this lower)

Mass: 24492.1 (Would like lower but this is good for me)

Pitch: 71.8 (would like to match that Roll)

Yaw: 71.0 (would also like to match the Roll)

Roll: 74.4

Speed: 91.2

I'll keep doing loot runs and checking the vendors for better P and Y along with Energy and Speed.

Davidw's right, you will sometimes find a few jems on a vendor, I found a level 6 engine yesterday with 9.1k mass, pre RE.

There's a fair bit of luck involved with the QIDs, my first run, I went and got a 96.7, not the best, but I'm happy with it, RE to 101.5. I did it a second time with my alt and all I got was a poxy 83.4, damn shame.

If you -really- wait out, you can get that mass down to just over 20k. Energy drain wise too, yah. Wait out for a drain in the low 1500's at the max.
