I'm thinking about my Heavy X-wing, or if i can find the parts, maybe a mad A-wing (just for the tail fins). But I'm also working on a Y-Wing, so I have quite a few for iot to go in. I'd love to see it in my A-Wing though, even though I would have to sacrifice a lot of kit to squeeze the thing in.

Not reading real well this morning. Are those stats PRE Re or After? If they are after I would wait a bit. Pushing the YPR to 75 shouldn't be too hard.

Sorry that's post RE. I've tried for some time to get better stats and used quite a significant selection of lvl8's from quite a few different players. I got the QID last week with 94.5 speed on it, the mass and PYR comes from looted lvl 8's

Its about the same mass as my old QID I had on my A-wing. It'd be perfectly reasonable to squeeze on a lvl 7 re'd cannon, ordnance and a mk IV shield or a very nicely re'd protecto net shield.

For Heavy x-wings and even standard x-wings..well lets just say any ship with 90k mass or upwards, I'd be looking to squeeze a re'd lvl 10 engine inside.

You must be having rotten luck looting engines. I have gotten several 72+ engines this week. Waiting on the reactor drain fix to do any serious RE work tho.

I'd wait for +75 or +76 YPR before REing, and definitely wait for the next publish to go through, so the drain gets REed too.

*watches horse run in field with stable door swinging in the breeze* I thought it was quite a reasonable RE, obviously not. As for looting engines, I don't get many, now boosters, what sort do you need? I've got enough to build a death star.

Well no engine seem to have a pre-decation for high YPR, though my QID has a higher speed than yours, and a higher pitch UnREed. I've also got a 73.1 Yaw, and a 72 Roll. Though i'm waiting for 73 or 74 on the roll to even it out. Oh and my mass is 22900 unREed.

Like Leaph said its perfectly reasonable, good for a heavy x wing, and good to have while you work on another one.

There's a level of insanity in part hunting. I've got a QID on Bloodfin that I want to RE, top speed is 102. But after farming and watching the bazaar for a few months (I literally farm parts for a couple hours every day/every other day) the best level 8 engine I've found was a 72.3 in PYR. And that was for only one stat.

On the other hand, I feel like hunting down and beating some of the shipwrights on my server. A week or so back I saw an engine with a 76 pitch, everything else in the 60's, and a speed in the 80's. What a waste of a good part! I would have bought that single pitch engine off him for several times what he was trying to sell that crappy RE for.

Now Now........You shouldn't talk that way. You have to realize that those engines are HIS loot and he will do with it what he dang well wants. And if that includes wasting a great part REing it with pure crap that is his "right"!. If you don't beleive me just take short trip over to the SW forum and witness the roasting Kayl got for daring to suggest it is a bad idea to RE while under the influence of stupidity or a lobotomy.

I have been collecting tons of level 8 engines for quite some time now and finally RE'd my QID with the best parts that I had but I am finding it increasingly more difficult to loot the high PYR level 8s. While I'm happy with my QID RE I have been swapping that engine out between my Krayt, B22 and Vaksai and it is no longer in pristine condition due toa few unfortunate encounters with the Kashyyyk Tier 5 gunboats. I would love to have a good backup engine but I can't come close to matching the stats on this one yet.
