I used JSF with 2 lvl 7 guns 3k max damage, no armor, 100 top speed engine, EO3, WO3, CO3, CSS3

I suggest getting the mission then using the travel terminal to another planet. Launch from that planet, load up all your droid programs then hyper into Kashyyk space, this way you will be ready to fight as soon as you enter because the mission starts as soon as you enter Kashyyk space.

As soon as the armada arrives call in your bomber strike 3(these are a MUST, if you fumble the codes, hyper out and start the mission over). Once the bomber strike starts attacking the fleet you can start picking away at the fighters(2 ARC-170's and 2 Bellabub's). The key is that once you attack the fleet will start to follow you. And they are extremely FAST! They're around 1100. Run away while using CSS3 but don't run too far as the bomber stike cannot keep up with this speed, you have to keep turning back into the fleet so the bombers can keep up.

Once the fighter screen is down, you have 2 tier 5 gunboats, 1 cruiser, and Lord Cyssc's flagship to deal with. Target the engines and keep use the method described above to slowly start plinking away at the remaining escorts. This requires a lot of patience as you can just go in guns blazing and expect to live. Keeping the bombers close is the key as they will distract most of the fleets guns away from you. After you've disabled 1 or both gunships you should be ready to call in your 2nd bomber strike. Disable the remaining cruiser escort then move on to Lord Cyssc's flagship. You have 20 minutes to complete this mission, so technically you could call in a 3rd bomber strike should you need it(bomber strike 3 is available once every 8 minutes i believe). And yes you do have to kill everything in order to complete the mission.

Nice work. BTW, I think someone said the NPC speed was a percentage of your max speed, so I wonder if you held off on EO3 until after they spawned would they be slower?

We got 3 people up and loaded ready to kill lord cyssc (we wanted 7 but just couldnt get enough people together). 2 advanced x-wings (me and another) and a guy in a longprobe who had the mission itself. Just as we got into kashyyk space the other x-wing pilot started getting hassle from his wife about something, he never told us this so we assumed he was still with us. His fleet spawned and we engaged, the guy in the longprobe got pretty beat up on the first pass so I told him to just keep out of the way while we dived in. 5 minutes later he was down with only a little ding in my armour, as he blew the other x-wing sends me a tell "sorry wife was giving me hassle, where are you guys?" I was like.. "er.. he's down" so I soloed lord cyssc and didn't even realise it lol

Impressive. I want to do this solo without Bstrike in my TIE Advanced still. But, I'm stuck on the last ground step, killing that chap in the Blackscale compound. Does your offer of help extend to the ground portion rather than space?

I was just going to say the exact same thing. I soloed it as a rebel myself. Grats on the accomplishment, but it doesn't quite fit my definition of soloing.

Bah...Bstrike3 isn't soloing it. I soloed it as a Rebel pilot without using any specials.
