Thread: Rebel flightsuit: why didnt the devs just.....

Take a Bwing surival suit, and color it orange? (not that i like orange, but still)

Now, i can understand the issues surrounding getting a flight helmet made and working, (its the rebel version of the imperial hat) but the flight suit - aint no excuse for that.


I wonder if this is something that could be suggested as a "enhancment" later on.

He wants the life-support system graphic on the B-Wing Pilot Survival Suit standard on the Rebel flightsuit given to all new Rebel pilots.

Yup.

And why not? Your flight suit should

1.) be a sort of uniform
2.) be in character to the profession


The standard "fighter flightsuit" is lame, not that the Bwing suits life support graphic is anything to write home about, but its better then what your currently given.

I agree. Currently, we get a distastefully coloured boiler suit and a nice hat. The Imps get two nice hats and a pretty fly jumpsuit to boot.

Because sprites are dumb. Seriously, how hard would it be to model a BOX, of all things, and to put textures on it that are akin to the paste-on graphic for the B-Wing suit?


In essence, I agree with you though... I just want 'em to go all the way with it... not to make it some lousy "look, my life support box is painted onto my chest!" look.

Yes.... A flaw more and more common amongst Devs... To Jedi focused, they are. Even the older, more expirienced ones

Because the Devs don't know s**t. Like the fact the "B-wing survival suit is in fact a Y-wing suit and the At-St suit is in fact and At-At suit. The devs can't seem to be bothered to make proper rebel equipment.
