Thread: Are Boosters bugged since patch? Anyone else having this problem?

Try the following:
loading other boosters in
remapping the key/button to something new temporarily
and, does the booster energy display on the HUD?

Also, have you got enough reactor energy to use all the components loaded in your ship?

its a bug. I had it for days. Fixed today for me. if youre still bugged macro /boosteron and /boosteroff

Since patch day, my boosters have refused to work, in my Oppressor as well as my Deci.
Booster is still bound to B key. (B does nothing)
Joystick set to USE B key. (Booster button does nothing)
B key works when typing.
Boosters are loaded and undamaged.
Both are RE'd.
Rebinding to other keys doesn't fix.
I wasn't worried until I saw it had happened to both ships. (Leads me to believe it was a key binding issue- it isn't).
I'm thinking that redeeding is my last option. (Easy for Oppressor, awful for Decimator)
Any tips? Thanks in Advance!

Thanks for the feedback guys. I've come to believe it has something to do with the boosters being RE'd. My jedi-alt has the same problem. My wife's char does not (even with RE'dboosters in her KSE). Another pilot in our guild Navy has been through it as well. He said swapping out to non-RE'd Boosters fixed it for him.
When I tried /booston it said that it wasn't a valid command. /boost on gave no such response, but did nothing. I'll be redeeding today. If that doesn't work, I'll swap out to a non-RE'd Booster and see how that works.

A number of people have had this problem. The advice that worked for me was to reboot the PC. I tried most of the other suggestion to no avail. I did a hard reboot of my computer and this cleared it for me and the problem never returned. I never turn my PC off and I can go weeks/months without a reboot.
