Find an Imp pilot and get the Weapon Overload 3, Cap Overload 3,and Engine Overload 3 programs from that person. With those you'll do much more damage than you'd normally be capable of, not to mention the ungodly fire rate and speed boost the other programs provide. As for the thirty ships in Kessel, it's an overrated mission. It can be done solo by any pilot without even using a single droid program.

Thanks! Yeah, last time I was in Kessel I got jumped by five ships and nearly died. Not too much fun so I'm looking for some way to take more damage as well. I'm pretty good in the weapons area already with a capacitor that lets me fire both guns without running out of energy. Thanks for your insight though!

You must have flown through a spawn if five different ships attacked you at once. I completed my 30 ship mission there and only managed to unintentionally aggro one ship throught the entire mission. Just target one ship at a time and they'll never get mad at you.

Currently I'm Smuggler Alliance 4-4-4-3 with the third mission going after the third box training. After nearly meeting my doom escorting a shuttle and getting ambushed by an Imperial Gunboat, I need help. Unfortunately, my server has a very low population and I fear I cannot get help for these missions. I need to solo them. How can I do this? I can fly whatever I need to, and get most parts outside of RE and uber parts. I do not use droid programs but I would like to learn how. Can someone teach me how to solo these missions and survive the 30 ship count in Kessel? Thanks!

Cap program and the fastest DI you can RE!
Then make a recursive macro that is .2 seconds slower for the CapSheildToShunt3-4; that way when you get into trouble it will start auto bumping your shields. RE the best capacitor you can. In fact, find the absolute best equipment NonREed you can, then when you can't find any better, RE the stuff.

Cap overload is a privateer program, he should have that himself. Would also want to load up Reactor overload 3 as well. Basically his flight computer should be Engine Overload 3, Weapon overload 3, Cap overload 3 and Reactor overload 3. Cap overload 3 is not even needed currently with Weapon overload 3, as longas you have a good capacitor, because it's bugged. Cap to Shield Shunt 3 is nice, but not necessary. I've never used it on either of my master pilots. If you have room, stick in the normalizations too. If you don't, the overloads reset when you get repairs. As for going after the ships in Kessel, just watch your shots. As a Smuggler's Alliance Pilot, nothing but the 3 pirates (the spawn for these is near the vette exit point)should aggro you until you shoot them. With the overload programs this will be ungodly easy. Fly smart and you shouldn't have too much of a problem with anything once you start using droid commands.

I've never used any of the other factional droid programs so I wasn't quite sure of all of their origins. As for Kessel, it is an ungodly easy mission. The only annoying part was waiting for more TIEs to spawn.

Thanks everyone! I've made it to the Corvette mission thanks to your input! Now I just need to know a few details on the corvette.

I soloed the Imperial Corvett for my Master. I followed the instructions I found here.
http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=pilot&message.id=46003
They were very helpful. Prepare to die while doing it. Just repair at Dath and head back in. The Corvett will be as you left it. Once you get the engine disabbled, you can take you time. I let the gunboats keep on track and just picked the rest off run by run. It is hard but can be done. I went belly gun, shields, then engine. A good booster and shields helps for getting the hell out of dodge when things open up on you.

I am impressed! We have seen a lot of "Help, this needs nerf, I can't solo it" threads. You however, came, asked for advice on how to do it, took that advice and used it to accomplish your goal, all without a flamefest or call for nerf!
Kudos! We need more players like you on all servers.
