Yup. That's one thing that is pretty predictable about the loot (as opposed to quantity, levels, and types). A rebel killing imperials will come home with bunches of Sienar gear, and an Imp killing rebs gets a lot of Incom. Not a hard and fast rule, but a solid tendency.

As an Imperial Ace playing since JTL went live, I can tell you I have NEVER looted any Sienar equipment ...and boy have I tried!

The cool "Imperial" equipment that we need to outfit our ships only drops from other Imperial craft. That means we can't get it directly, we have to rely on "aftermarket" sources for the stuff (i.e. Neutral or Rebel pilots putting these thingup for sale).

Find a good Shipwright that has connections across all factions and he should be able to help you out.

It's my opinion that imps drop better loot on average then rebels. There was a thread around here that had a list of the names of "uber" equipement. Like a Tie Capacitor at lvl 10 that is always good. We really need to make a compliation of all the names of the "uber" drops and what dropped them. I have a lvl 4 Engine that has 84 top speed and mid 60's fyp (thats as good as the current lvl 6 reward engine, actually better. For example I know any Kuat lvl 8 Reactor is going to have 20-50k energy generation roughly.

hey fellow pilots have a question for ya all. as an imperial naval pilot im trying to get myself some "sienar" weapons for my ships.my many trips to deep space just dont get me any "sienar" weapons. so i got to thinking do i need to kill ties/imperials to get these, sinse sienar is the maker of tie fighters.
