Sorry if that was already explained, but I couldn't find anything exactly on this subject.

Do I need the 7.5 million exp before takingthe Ace missions, or can I just take the mission, and grind aftewards to have the box filled?

I just want to avoid speaking to the Ace trainer, and receive some sort of duty mission instead of the real Ace missions, because I don't have all the needed exp yet.

You don't need the xp. You just have to do the missions to become master.

Yeah, the 7.5 million XP required for the box is very intimidating at first, but it was just put there to keep people from getting the XP before talking to their trainer.
