At 1111, you won't find really anything worth upgrading to. Your best bet at that level is to try a shipwright. They should be able to make you something to get by.

The thing about that level is there really isn't a huge variety to pick from. Granted, there are the insanely rare Cert Level 2 guns with over 0.800 vs shield/armor. I have a few of those sitting around just for the shock value. But, as you move up in certifications, more options open up and then you can start choosing between raw damage, raw speed, or a mix.

But, again, final recommendation: Get a shipwright to make you a nice Ion Cannon, quick refire, though at that level, quick isn't saying much. That's my 2 cents on what would be best.

First, I don't know of any aces that are hive insects. Second, you're not going to be able to PvP at 1/1/1/1 ... a PvP setup puts out about 3 times the damage (or more), is twice as fast and maneuverable, and has MUCH stronger shields.

An effective (barely) pvp setup would start around, I'm guessing, 2-3-2-2 if you get other pilots to burn droid commands for you.

Crafted guns, built for speed and NOT max damage, tend to be your best bet at any level if you don't have a good supply of looted weapons to go through.
