Well i made it to tier 3!! woohoo NOT!!
started the first mission got wiped a couple times fast. Then started getting the hang of things it will difently make a better pilot out of ya for sure.
well i get several mission susecful messages iam like 5 or 6 of those into this 1 mission and i need a break ( it just seems to keep going no break between) so i hyer out to tattione for some major repairs only to see i have ended my mission as a failure. i think no big deal i can pick up where the mission had left off. Boy was i wrong now i have to start the whole long thing all over again. This is nuts!! not every one can sit at the stick for hours at a time with out a break!!
Is this the way all the missions are goign to be on tier 3?
all i can say is GRRRRRR
Sorry to say it but, welcome to tier 3. the reson the missions are so long is that you are not spending xp to train, you get training for every mission you complete(the overall mission, not the segments) usually 4 segments to each. It is soloable, but alot easier, and quicker with a good group.
Thanksand i have calmed dow na little LOL.
Man that experance had me wanting to go back to DAOC for a few mins lol. felt like i was tring to solo the dragon there for a bit.
Iam NiteWolfe Ecplise and i think its crimson squad.. iam on dathemir or some thing like that sorry iam rotten with names.
iam currenty using a Y wing Lp with what usd to see ma good load out till now. ( the best i could find and most of it player made) prices seem good on Ecplise comparedto my son playing on bria
Iam actualy looking over the stats and think i maybe better off loading out a Z95 heavy instead. i realy only lose 1 gun and gain tons of handling ( the Ywing is flying liek a brick for me) going to give that a shot later tonight or maybe in the morning.
ATM iam flying using a mouse and a speed pad ( i know notthe best for piloting but tring to make it all work.
Any help would be great. i got a lot to learn and a long ways to go.
BTW i can get long winded at times so just tell me to#### if ya needto LOL
2 things I have to say.
#1 If you can float the cost, you really should get a good joystick, with all the axis, a stick with no yaw is no good.
That will make life infinatly better. If you can't fload the cost, dissregard #1
#2 I am also on eclipse. Looke me up sometime, I'd be happy to help. As well, check this link to the eclipse pilot association.

If you have not joined it, you should. It is not a guild, so no need to leave any guild you might be in. Also, there are some good pilots in the list. And tobe able to find each other easier, we have a chat channel for us.
Also follow Kryxal's advice.
WOW thanks i just send my join reply to the pilot assoseation thats awsome going to add the channel once i get ingame.
Joystick will have to wait about 2 weeks for unless some thign comes up. third axis i take it you mean it has the twist handle right? so i can actual have turn on the stick with out having to press buttons for it as i do now lol.
Slowing down wise i been doing that for a while now in the Y wing it helps tons still hard as snot to stay on the tie int when they realy want to shake me off. done a little better with breaking off fromthem if they are tring to shake me and just picking up on a new target instead of chaseing a tie int tails.
Like to thanks yall for al lthe great help
The thing that seems confusing to me is that I cannot gain anymore skill points until I take my first Tier 3 promotion. The problem is the guy assigning my pilot missions will not promote me. Anyone have any clues I would appreciate it.
I sure wish I could find someone to group up with. Seems as though everyone piloting wants to solo.
