I miss something or is this derirved from the "we'll look at the ships" combined with "prefer not to nerf" ?

Got it in one... Just one of those feelings you gotta go with. Especially in the light of decisions rendered in the ground game's balance.

With what level engine?

Cert 8

Wups, wait, my cert 6 Tomo clone for that setup, the Cert 8 Engine was with my lower shield that I managed an early low mass awesome stat shield on. For PvP, it worked ok, I just went on the theory that if someone managed to hit that tiny hitbox...it would be like a TIE in canon...and I would be very very dead

Hopefully part of the "we'll look at the older ships" thing will involve giving the Kirhaxz more mass. It's such a pretty ship, I want to use it. But 40k is a bit restrictive for me. And the Vaksai isn't an option, since it is the Style 3 that I like (plus I already did the quest for my Advanced X).

80 and 90K mass is considered low mass?!

Ya, i think Kryxal may be correct with the heavy tie theory.

Yeah, those ROTW ships are completely balanced for JTL gameplay, aren't they? And here old Dork_Platterputz wants to go and make the whole damned kit and caboodle just like'em. Rock candy for the kiddies, nose candy for the adults, logic, balance, and skill exit stage left.

Those heavy fighter variants make me wish to god Kessel was forced PvP again and that I could pick and target ALL their subcomponents individually...

Sorry all, the spleen needed a good venting.

There is normally a few in Kessel on Chim that give me, my target engine finger, and my Xwings blasters some fun!

Its my new game, I cant have my Heavy X so im going to blow up your pretty ships you farmers. Occassionaly i will dodge the head to head that the JSFs invariably think is a good idea against my boosted forward shields, twice as heavy front armour, 2 advanced blasters, 1 heavy blaster and 1 proton mark 3 launcher. Thendogfight them to death in my X just to show off.

That really makes them go nuts, think tells like "You *expletive deleted*, your a *expletive deleted* cheater, your using a *expletive deleted* cheater engine you *expletive deleted*

To be fair..the original poster was only asking for advice and probably isn't aware of the personal value of good starship parts so in order to be constructive...

Try the trade forums mate...or do if you want to pvp, you're going to have to slog it out like the rest of us. It is very rare that any pilot sells/parts with a good piece of kit because the competition is so intense. Try tier 3 ships for a start..they drop a good range of stuff. I personally suggest endor. Another note..even numbered loot tends to be best such as lvl 2, lvl 4 etc apart from on guns and the odd reactor. Lvl 7 guns are considered hot property and two lvl 7' on a JSF would be deadly. Since you're on Bria..and I'm kinda bored atm, Send me a tell an I'll help you as best I can. Then if you do want to pvp thats cool..we'll try some duels. I need some more targets after all and as I said..I'm not doing much atm.

But erm..on sighting the FS conversion thing. No..not on my watch. Oh also...please attempt to type half coherently. I don't care too much for spot on, perfect grammar..but readable text is always nice.

have fun etc,
