Thread: LvL10 Engine RE question

Hello,

I'm looking for your advice. I have learned a lot from reading in this forum and now have a direct question. I've got a number of LvL10 engines and want to know if I should hold out for better or go for the RE. Yes, I know many will suggest it depends on what I'm after and if I want to wait and all that. lol, I want to wait but I also want to do it now..hehehe... My plan is a really good LvL10 engine for my POB's and B-wing. The engine doesn't have to be the best out there just a really good one. So, with that said, do I have the parts to make a really good one?

A list of the best stats I have with the LvL10 engines I currently own (Pre-Re):

Armor/HP: 763.2

Drain: 1620.5

Mass: 43056.6

Pitch: 77.4

Yaw: 78.6

Roll: 78.6

Speed: 90.7


Also, can you tell me what these numbers would be Post RE? If I recall correctly it is a 10% bonus so everything is Stat plus 10%.

I think the bonus is only 6% at level 10. So you are looking at something like the following...




Armor/HP: 808.9

Drain: 1523.3

Mass: 40473.2

Pitch: 82.0

Yaw: 83.3

Roll: 83.3

Speed:96.142



Someone check my numbers, I might have totally messed that up.

not sure about the ypr but the speed can come up. My first looted lvl10 had 92.9 speed. If your real lucky you can maybe get up to 96 before re.

I would go ahead and RE it if you're dying to get an RE job done. None of the stats except maybe the mass and drain will really be "wasted" in that RE. You'll end up with a decent engine that you can use EO4 with.

Meanwhile you can be collecting more level 10 engines looking for the uber stats to do another RE later.

Great input, thanks everyone. maybe I'll hold out a while longer and do a couple weeks of Deep Space/Kessel loot runs and see what else I can pull. I think a few of these came from BS duty missions also so I might pull a few of those to break up the monotiny....

6% REbonus

Stats are not special so you could RE it all without worrying about feeling bad later though you might want to hold the engine with the mass seperate.


Mass: good

PYR:drops with 80+ stats.

Top speed: theoretically drops upto 99, but very rare. 90 isn't too hard to get again.

Drain: Good, can get as low as 1400

totally agree all your parts are a little above avg but mass is high end anything 42-43k should be saved for better stuff, other than that go ahead. also using a lvl 10 RE on a POB is a waste since if your using the PYR you gunners can't hit squat.


for the record best I've heard of recently (post pub 20) is 99.9 I believe that is cap so anything over 98 is HIGHLY EXCEPTIONAL
