Ok, I understand that you can get the Heavy X-Wing from a quest, but the question I'm wondering as a pilot of SA, can you actually fly it as a Freelancer? Does anyone have a definitive list of ships that every squadron has access to? Thanks in advance.

No, you can't fly it. Check the FAQ for a full list of ships, divided by profession.
