Hola,

I have just completed all nine pilot profs and wow was it fun. I think the story lines are cool, and the quadruple exp didnt hurt either. Anyone else done this or could I be the first...

Quite a few have done this. I'll be wrapping up my sixth squadron later today. Probably make a lot of headway into my seventh, too. Depends on how I feel.

Ok, this is in no way to downplay what all of you 9X Aces have done, but what is the appeal of it, besides the rewards and a job very well done?

Please don't misunderstand. I am looking into doing this with my Imp 1X ace, just cant pull myself from my loot/Nym's quest grind. I just want to understand a bit more.

Do the different squadron and faction missions give you a new perspective on piloting? New sorts of tactics?

Any feedback is welcome.

What else is there to do up there? Some of us just enjoy space that much. Besides, having six level 8 reward guns, three level 7 reward guns, nine level 8 reward shields, nine level 6 reward boosters, et cetera to RE is NICE.

I plan on doing it:

1) to have something to do up there, as I love flying but am still collecting parts for RE purposes - if I PvP against really good vets now, I know that even if my skills are close, I lack the gear to really even perform on par with them (at least in some cases)

2) becuase it sounds cool

3) becuase it will give me a good perspective on the handling and loadouts and capabilitiespossible on ships and pilotsI'd normally fly against when I go back Imp after all is said and done.

4) to have fun

Ive Just started my Second Sqrdn, Done Inquisition and now moved onto Black Epsilon, its amazing looking back on my first steps into the Space world how much ive actualy learned, especially on Mass management and Spatial awareness.

I liked how you react Differently to different Sqrdn trainers too, to the Inquisitors i was very respectfull but with Black epsilon i come across as a cocky hotshot, cant remember how i was with SS, only did tier 1 then jumped ship.

oh and can i still land at the Emperors retreat even after dropping Inquisiton?

On the note of Black Epsilon, that first trainer was a bit too friendly for me. Nice enough, but... yeah.

Ty guys for all your compliments at least I wasnt the only crazy one. And as far why, I love flying but routine missions are dull and the story lines from the different squadrens are cool. During this time I was able to get almost 30 people thier masteries, and thats what this game is all about...

Very respectable challenge. Personally though I spend too much time pvp'ing and racing around modifying my A-wing to be part of this club.
