Only the ARC-170 and the ETA-2 Actis require the questfinishedflagto generate the deed.

My suggestion is to borrow one from a friend to see if you can generate it before spending millions buying one.

Thats a common misconception. My main has been bugged from launch on the heavy X quest, so I went jedi and got an alt just to do the quest. Then gave the deed to my alt so he could fly it.

No, you CAN actually fly it without ROTW just like you can buy the Belb and fly it. You don't need the badge, just 5 general badges in your bio.

I sold my spare Heavy X-wing to someone without rotw for a few million. They're able to use it fine.

I read through the stickies, and now know these are quest rewards associated with ROTW. I have JTL, but not ROTW. Are these tradable? Am I able to buy one from someone on my server and fly it? Thanks.

Ah my understanding was that the only ship that didn't need the expansion to fly was the belle.
