Thread: Saitek ST290 Pro...
Does it have an axis for rolling? ie does the handle twist?
That, and a hat switch are my minimums for flightsticks. Throttles are nice, but not as necessary as twist.
I've always liked Saitek. Used one of their older models (ancestor of the Cyborg EVO) for the longest time, until the spring got so sloppy I wasn't getting any feedback. They make good stuff, and their higher-tier models are all fully adjustable.
I'm currently using a Logitech Extreme 3d Pro, until I make the switch to HOTAS. I'm really liking the the feedback I get; I have to muscle the stick around a lot more than the Saitek.
I'd recommend putting your hands on it before you buy it, if you can. There's big differences in the way Saitek feels to other brands, and some people really don't like them.
