Just bout it, is it crap or what? Anyone who has one ( aside from being as cheap as me, LOL) let me know the best way to use/program it please. I fly a ARC 170 most of the time, 4333 Neut Pilot.

Does it have an axis for rolling? ie does the handle twist?

That, and a hat switch are my minimums for flightsticks. Throttles are nice, but not as necessary as twist.

Actually, this thing has more buttons, switches, and knobs than a Federation Starship!! It has the "Twist" you mantioned, plus the buttons, and even a thumb toggle for walking and such. It has a trigger for firing weapons, and a throttle. I was suprised that the price was only $19.95 (US)... I've seen others that are more expensive with less options.

I've always liked Saitek. Used one of their older models (ancestor of the Cyborg EVO) for the longest time, until the spring got so sloppy I wasn't getting any feedback. They make good stuff, and their higher-tier models are all fully adjustable.

I'm currently using a Logitech Extreme 3d Pro, until I make the switch to HOTAS. I'm really liking the the feedback I get; I have to muscle the stick around a lot more than the Saitek.

I'd recommend putting your hands on it before you buy it, if you can. There's big differences in the way Saitek feels to other brands, and some people really don't like them.

I use the ST290 as well. Is an okay stick for the price, mine is a little stiff and the buttons are kinda close but other than that it is a solid piece. What more can you ask for 20 bucks

Thanks for the input Y'all. Thought I mighta bought (as we say in South Carolina) a pig-in-a-poke. As soon as I finish the Hotfix Updates at about 11:30 tonight I'll give it a try.
