Hey there, I'm some what "new" to pilot. I've had JTL for a long long time, I'm 4333, but I don't exactly know what I'm doing.
I gained a new sparked interest in pilot, and decided to make an appereance on the pilot forums, and to hopefully be apart of the the only community that really "earns its wings" when it comes to furthering its progress. So if you see me around Eclipsian space shooting at you, its probably because I think you're an NPC.
I'm a little slow, pretty awesome, and hope to see some of you around.

(K, now to let the masses have at me. )

Are you a pilot and not using Droid Commands?

Happy hunting. Check out some of the 'better flying' links on the FAQ, they're pretty helpful.

The first thing (IMO)you should start trying to pay attention to is your angle of attack. How are you moving? How is your opponent moving?

Later when you get the corvette and gunboats this will be crucial to how long you live. Thats why the transition to fighting snubfighters to gunboats & corvettes is tough for a lot of pilots that don't take the next step up.

Main step though is to keep flying and have fun.

Happy Hunting

Yea, just fly long and hard. I highly recommend for your tier 4 grind you go to kessel a lot. It really helped me in that when i came back to do my tier 4 missions I was already targetting ships more powerful than i was and could smoke tier 4's withut blinking. Another thing, work on your mass, love your ship, beleive me, loving your ship will save your butt 9 times out of 10.

Empire Blockade, Dathomir System is the closest hyperpoint.

When you get there, targetting the closest station (c) should select the station that will take you to kessel and deep space. Its about 7 km away.

That station will only take you to kessel / DS if you are CorSec, RSF, or SA.

Good hunting

I don't know how to get to kessel
None of the freelance pilots I find will tell me, and all my guild mates are alliance pilots

Freelance pilots head out to the Dathomir system--check your POIs and head to the deep space station there (don't recall what its name is).

Last Nav Station or something, iirc.
