Or is the reward of landing at the Emperor's retreat for being an Inquisition Squad pilot much better (was former storm squad 4333, dropped it to start anew.... then just did a lot o ground work to get to me jedi) Back in my storm squad days... it was the hardest one.... but me and the guild i was in did it cuz well... our name was storm lol

From what I hear, Storm Squadron is worth it for the bragging rights...it is supposed to be the toughest squadron to beat.

It sure is worth it. It is without doubt the toughest Sqn to master. Landing at the Emperor's Retreat is ok, but it's only a short hop from Moenia anyway. You will always have respect if you are a Storm Sqn ace

Im Saving SS for when i return to the Imperaial Fold, working my way through the Sqrdns at the mo.
I started off with SS when i got TTE but dropped it because i found it too hard at the time and did Inq Instead, its good to land at the Emp retreat but only if you've not done the Themepark otherwise theres no point, unless its to watch the Reb Jeedais camping the spawns and shouting for vader to come out and play.

I found it fairly easy to be honest. I just didn't like the overly long escort parts because I got bored. NPC A-wings do that ship an injustice

Ditto. I'veAce'dStorm solo 4 times now have yet to fail a mission (well I failed the early one in Lok being as I still had proto stuff equiped NoobZenith) The first time I used the heavy then the bulb being as I'd read how hard it was. But the other 3 times I just used pre row ships. I don't see what all the fuss is about really. The escort mission make you wanna kill yourself being as they're that long but the T4 A-Wing mission is the best buzz I've had in space, but I'm still waiting on Lord C so hopefully that will change

It really is. However, there is a huge learning curve with SS that will trip you up if you aren't an experienced pilot. Storm Squadron absolutely kicked my butt my first time through, but when I went back to do it about a month ago, it was a breeze. It is the hardest squadron in the game, but that isn't saying a lot if you know what you're doing. But it is absolutely unforgiving if you don't, whereas you can probably scrape by in other squadrons.

Good point.

Speaking from a practical standpoint, no SS isn't really worth it.
Speaking from the same practical standpoint, if someone was to ask me, which squadron is worth doing the most, i would say the Inquisition.
1.) Landing rights.
2.) Inquisition teir 4 trainer has the ONLY teir 4 mission that spawns rebel ships, however, its a freaking escort mission, so its not as productive as the rebels teir 4 destroy mission out of Crimson phonex's teir 4 trainer on rori.
All that said, while its nice to have those options, i rarely used them once mastered. However, its a nice little playing card to have in your pocket.

Haha! I like the way you say that. My all time favorite ship might be the Rihk, and I still cringe every time I see an NPC Rihk. Lousy pilots, them NPCs is!

Oh, and on the topic of the thread, I'm considering going back to Inquisition for landing rights. Not that I go there often, but...um...I'm lazy, and I want as many special things as I can get. SS isn't toooooo hard, it's really just a more complex mix of missions and targets, and really only 1 or 2 Tier3 missions that give it a bad name.
