Install a weapon in your Bel-22, then look at the chassis model to see if the weapon shows up as a big black box with a red question mark. There's your link.


If it does, try using a different weapon.


The same problem occurs on other ships, but not all get the black box. In the case of the Aggressor, for example, the turret mount won't display a gun graphic and the firing will screw up.


In any case, if you're having trouble with your weapons, simply try installing different ones. A good crafted green/red makes a great baseline to test with. If you have problems with those, you know it's something more serious than lazy devs forgetting to implement RotW stuff properly.

Hi There. My sweetie bought a Bebullab 22 and is having trouble with getting it to fire it's weapons. Is there a trick to it? It says you can't add weapons, but I'm thinking there's something that needs to be done.


The good news for me is that's he's frustrated with it and is willing to give it to me. I've just started flying, so it's going to be awhile before I can do anything with it, but it'll be nice for when I can!


Any suggestions or advice?

ive been using mine since i got the cert.. never had weapon problems... are u using the droid overload commands? u should.

Are you talking about the Graphics Placeholder Bug? There are a bunch of weapons that wont go on the Underneath mount, and they totally mess with the weapons systems.

You have a link to that bug, Tokk? That would probably explain what's going on with my ARC 170 guns.

It should still fire, i had the weapon graphics on my ARC-170 about a full 'wing size' to the left and facing backwards (in the preview window and in flight). Yet they still fired like normal and the bolts appear from where they should.

Thanks for the answers. That gives us something to try and some direction. I may be wrong, but I believe it was telling him he couldn't install weapons as well. Which led us to believe it had preinstalled weapons.


I'll try those ideas. If he gets too frustrated, I get the ship and I'll figure it out when I'm leveled a bit!
