Is Crsr ever going to make it where "anybody"can where there Pilot Helmets?

I have a freelance helmet and a rebel helmet. I've mastered both. but sense im a rebel again, I cannot wear the freelance ace pilot helmet...... I want too........

What they should do is make it a badge check. If you have the appropriate ace badge then you should be allowed to wear the helmet, jacket and medal associated with it.
