As i have only been playing JTL a little over a week since i have come back to the game, i am still very ignorant as to what parts are actually "good". Is there a forum thread i can get a link to or can someone take a few mins to let me know what stats are the most important to each part?
EXAMPLE
boosters - what is a good accel and max speed i need to look for vs the power comsumption and recharge time?
cap - what is a good recharge rate vs power useage
in general, what are the most important stats i need ot be aware of whether from loots parts or looking at a vendor.
THANKS

Short answer: All stats are important.
Long answer: Keep everything you ever loot, don't sell any of it to chassis dealer or a SW or give it to a guild SW until you've got more experience under your belt knowing what's good and what's mostly junk, you can always get rid of it later, better to hold on to too much than not hold on to something good. Pick up some merchant to store stuff on a vendor or free up some lots and drop factories on it, personally I use one factory for each component type.

Boosters: Highest Top Speed and Accelleration you can get with the least mass and power usage
Engines: Depends on craft and flightstyle
Shields: High Fore/Aft hitpoints and Recharge
Capacitor: High Capacitor Energy, Recharge withlow Mass andlow Reactor drain
Cannons: Depends on playstyle.
Missiles: Depends on playstyle.
Chassis: As much supportedmass as you can get, you can make up for the hitpoints by use of armor/shields
Armor: Low mass and High Armor points.
