Thread: I keep crashing to desktop while blowing up NPCs! help

Its happened twice tonight in the span of 2 hours. Ive been doing duty missions, and if I fly thru the npc's debris as it explodes....WHAMMO....Im looking at my desktop and the client is dead.
Ive been having more CTDs since I installed jtl last week, but never this many in such a short amount of time. I cant update my ati drivers because ati doesnt provide drivers for laptops.
Anything out there that I can do about this?
Im on a Gateway M505
1.3ghz
512mb ram
ati Mobility 10 video card (64mb)
I know the comp barely makes the cut on required specs, but it plays swg fine with minimal lag. So whatever is happening its something new.

Gateway's site is pretty decent when it comes to drivers...
That link is should be for your laptop's drivers...

i just started that a couple of days again. If i dont crash i lock up and i have to restart the computer. I built my own computer with a gig or mem and a 2ghz procssor with a geforce card with 256 mem.
I havnt had any troubles until now. other than the fps bob on the ground. Which i think i solve that for the most part for me i still run into the 1fps in the city every now and then.what idid was change the view distance from the bare min. to all the way up so i now i can see real far away and theothertroubleshooting they give.
