Thread: Royal Guard TIE Bug?

I was going after some of these in Kashyyyk by the Imperial space station and noticed that hitting them was virtually impossible (for them to actually take damage from the hits). It reminded me of the beta bug where ships only took damage from front/back and not any other side. The shields were lighting up like a Christmas tree, yet damage would rarely register - I don't have this issue with the normal interceptor for some reason.
Anyone else seeing this? It took me 5 minutes to take out a Tier 3 interceptor using a level 8 gun... it normally would have only lasted 20 seconds tops.

I get the same thing from time to time no matter what ship i fly. It seems to cause by client/server latency.

Here's a thought - maybe the wings aren't valid hit locations, only the ball?

What ya doing firing at imperial guard tie's ? are you some kinda rebel ? *narrows eyes*

Hell no - just offering a possible explanation. :/
Obviously if you're doing damage from the front and rear, you're hitting the cockpit area - from the sides, the wings would be the presenting target.

I know I'd take damage if I got shot in the ball.

I've got my red TIE now! Yay! Seriously, I love this ship. There's just one small issue that's nagging at me. I didn't actually do the mission yet. I am waiting, and hoping they get that bug with the badge taken care of soon. My wonderful wife did the mission, though, and I helped out on the last leg of it. She handed the deed off to me, as she's a Smuggler, and on a whim I decided to try to unpack it. And it worked. Is being there when someone else does the mission supposed to count, or is this just a really lucky bug for me?

well, i guess id be able to fly one according to that.....I've disabled 4 vettes for others and helped them complete their missions. But I have no way of gettin the TIE.
Cause im STILL BUGGED, from RotW release day by the weak pirates revenge bug

You do not need to have done the mission to use it, you just need to have the skills to use it.
