Right now I'm doing that mission in which you have to protect a decoy Lambda shuttle. It clearly states that I have to destroy 4 incoming fighter waves. Well each wave consists of 4 fighters, however I must have destroyed at least 8-9 waves and I still fail this bloody mission? So what on earth are the exact requirements to complete this? Is there some kind of timer or whatever?
Up to this point I've been doing it all solo and I like it that way. I don't mind this being difficult but I do mind being misled as to the mission completition requirements.
PS What on earth is this thing with SOE hating solo players?

You need to destroy them fast enough to make them think that the shuttle has something valuable on it.

I am on this mission now.
You need to destroy each wave so that you get a message like 'all fighters destroyed'.
You need to do this BEFORE the next waves spawns so you have to be pretty quick about it. You need to get that message 4 times to succeed.

A friend and I are in similar situations, we've destroyed every single fighter and it still fails, the only answer I was ever able to get from the CSR's was some bull about a wave not spawning if you didn't stay close enough to the shuttle (a wave won't spawn hence it's bugged, and it will always fail).
