Amen brother preach on! Also maybe slow them down or jig them around like the boulders do when you miss them. or for larger craft suck smaller ships into the docking bay!

...like newbies need any MORE help in mastering...
...not to mention the griefing potential in PvP. Imagine being disabled and dragged into a nasty NPC spawn so your ship would be ripped to shreds instead of being destroyed outright so your components and chassis would suffer even MORE damage.

sounds like fun! Master pilots do not fear decay! Deep space takes care of all ills.

Yes, but even choosing the "just get my ship running" option causes SOME decay.

/vrepair does not cause decay. It causes damage to the other parts of your ship and puts those points into the most damaged part (usualy the reactor or engine if you can't move). then you jump to DS. In space repair WILL cause decay. thats a different beast though.
