Thread: Aiming question.
The fading bax it just a tracking thing .. it tracks where your cursor is moving, has nothing to do with targeting, it's just something so your cursor isn't invisible I guess
All of the above responses are totally correct.
Aim with the green crosshairs.
Also, listen to what the hits sound like. Theres more than one way of hitting an enemy craft.
When you are getting a "normal" hit on a enemy craft, u hear an electric crakcling sound and the shields of the enemy craft flash. You deal normal damage.
When u are hitting the "sweet spot", u hear a metallic, clunking type of sound, and the shields of the enemy craft dont flash. You do a LOT more damage this way.You get those hits by aligning the greet crosshairs at exactly the right way. The correct spotdepends on the direction and the velocity of the enemy craft, so its not necessarily always at dead center of green crosshair, but usually a bit towards the enemy craft.
Look and listen, ull soon get it. And forget about the fading mouse trail box.
Excellent question, btw... i had to find all this out by myself, once you get it, youll soonbe smiling..
