I haven't had a chance yet to pack two friends into my brand new ARC fighter to take it for a spin, but I am curious as to how the guns areset up. The Friday Feature that I read said that it had two rear-facing turrets. Is that correct? If so, how far can the turrets rotate, and how effective are they with competent gunners?

Well ... I have no idea.

I havn't had the chance to get anyone in mine either, and you can't turret your own fighter.

From the looks of it, they made em both rear firing turrets.

Were it my design the top turret would have been placed in between the two gunner seats, with a 360 degree half sphere firing arc.

The lower turret where it is, with rear firing arc that can pan to the sides and somewhat forward, limited by the lower section of the fusalage.

Hmm... *has* anyone flown this thing with gunners?

Yeah, both gunner positions are in the rear, one covers the top hemisphere and the other the bottom.

Interesting. Can they fire forward at all, or just in the back hemisphere?

Just the back, the pilot has a forward gun to use too, so they basicly cover your tail.

Again, interesting. I like the possibilities for strafing runs.
