Thread: How does one acquire this TIE?

The winglets don't do anything, and SWs charge WAY too damned much for them.
Can you add winglets to a TIE Fighter?
There are only 5 modification schematics:
- Kimogila Heavy Fighter Winglets
- Rihkxyrk Attack Ship Winglets
- TIE Advanced Winglets
- X-Wing Side Strakes
- Z-95 Side Strakes
I don't see TIE Fighter Winglets in my schematics, maybe they forgot to add them?
As for SWs charging too much, all the modificaiton schems require 250 units of Asteroid resources, I'm sure if you supplied that to your Local Friendly Ship Wright, s/he would gladly make it for free.

Then why don't you became a MSW and mine your own stinking asteroids for some winglets. No one is stopping you.

Spacemining is timeconsuming and as such naturally will make things made out of asteroid ressources expensive, best bet is to mine the stuff yourself and find a sw to make the parts from it :-P. Works for me at least.

Shipwrights eat resources like crazy, especially, keeping on top of steel demand makes it hard to keep on top of the demands of other materials.
Unlike ground harvesting, space harvesting takes time. To remove the expense of paying other people, I stick to doing it in my own starfighter, which means every 1550 units I mine ... I have to go land and come back into space. Basically it's a time sink. because of this, it's going to sufferasimilar mark up to buy as creature resources do from rangers. The asteroid resources sell for 10-50 cpu on the bazars.
