Thread: What do I need to do to be able to mine in space?

Ok I am a low level pilot. I have not been into space in over 6 months and am wondering what I got to do in order to be able to mine in space. Can I use a regular ship or what? If anyone could please I am stuck on this.......

as far as i know u just need a Mining Lazer and a Cargo Hold, im using a tier 2 freelance fighter plane, for mining, if u wanna do a mission to get your mining stuff it starts with Flash on the first floor of the tree in kassiak, or however its spelled, lol, otherwise i believe your local shipwright can make the stuff you would need problem with that is the fact they need space resorces, and may be expensive, lol, hope that helps
