and i am rebel?How all will it affect us as a team,
And how do you change factions within the empire,like from storm hold to another one,and does it hurt any skill levels.?

you can group normally. and to change squads you have to drop all your current pilot skills and start over

You'll be able to group fine but one of you might have trouble actually fighting in space. Your imp friend wont be able to shoot imp enemies. You'll have to attack neutral stuff.
And shame on you for being friends with an Imp!
