Thread: Destroyed My Ship
I feel for you. I destroyed my favorite weapon one time.... took me about a week before I could make myself log on again.
There are moments were you just don't pay attention, even with a redundant system that helps to ensure these things don't happen.....

You might be able to get the CSRs to regenerate it. I know they have helped people out in the past when lag has caused them to delete a item they didn't think they had selected.
It can be done.
Well, some good has come of it actually. I picked myself up and thought- what do I have to do? Get another chassis obviously. My SW may give me a discount since I buy from him so often, but he isn't on right now. I can't afford to get set back any fuurther from the KSE I have been saving for, so I cannot afford to buy an expensive chassis and get mroe parts.
So I pickup the Rihk, dust it off, and deed it. I think about components- everything I had, including weapons and engine that I switched between my Krayt and YT, is gone. So I go out to get new stuff.
I was AMAZED at how bad some of my former components were. Even though I spent nearly 500k on them I was very pleased with waht I came out with- a Mark I booster with just over 1k mass was about 8 speed over my former loot component which had way mroe mass. My guns all do 3.6k damage now. And although I probably cnat fit it all on my Rihk while I wait for the Krayt, I am really looking forward to takign the gunship out.
Plus, I worked out a good roleplaying idea from it. A reason for me to... egt this... kill Evil Raider Tyrants! LOL, I always wondered why my character would go out for hours with friends nad sit and just kill things, and now... i have an answer! They stole his ship!!! ![]()
just trying to keep the mood light. After the initial shock I am recovering ![]()

Well, I would do this, but the way I see it,t his was simple stupidity on my part, simply too impatient and not attentitive enough. CSR has real problems to deal with- I will pay for my mistake, and hopefully learn from it.

well, just out of curiosity how would you do that? I mean, you can't submit a bug since it isn't abug- how would you get a CSR to help you?

Submit an honest ticket that you destroyed the ship by mistake and if they could be so kind to restore it. Don't suck up, don't come up with some sort of cover story, stay clear ofadjectivesand keep out your feelings about SOE/SWG/bugs wether positive or negative.
I lost a backpack full ofquest reward armor and pre-cu armor through a stupid move. Detailed what I had done, admitted that it was my own mistake and asked if they would restore it even though it was my own fault. They sent me a mail to free up enough inventory space and they returned it to me.
I've been on a helpdesk for 4 years. Honesty works most of the time.
To bring this to a CSR attention -> Ctrl-H (holocron) -> Customer Service button -> Knowledge base (just search for anything) -> go to the bottom of the article, there's a button "Submit Ticket".

What did you put yours ticket under? I only have five days so I need to get this resolved quickly before the server wipes it clean.
