Hope a csr reads this as i submitted a ticket and still no reply.

i recently gave up my master freelancer skills and i did it the propper way by seeing the correct ncp and speaking to him.

Then went to se a new naval officer to give one of the other types a try, sighned up ok and did the 1st couple of missions ok.

Then when it came to grind time i noticed i had -160000 xp for pilot??????

Weird i know, now there is no way a pilot who is x-1-x-x would be able to grind that much on their own!

So i am now just waiting for a CSR to reply to my ticket. Anyone else had this problem??????

If in doubt pull out a thermal detenator. ;-)

You must have had an inspiration buff when you dropped pilot, therefore you would have lost 110% of the Xp you had. lol

Yup, it's a known bug and we've been warning everyone we can every way we can. Tomo is on top of it though, making sure they know that it's a bigtime pilot problem, and trying to get the word to all CSRs that they need to promptly zero people out, so things are fair.

This happened to me ahile back and I could not get a CSR to fix it. I had to sit in a friends agressor and let him blow stuff up to get rid of my -500k.

I havent figured out the point of people dropping a master pilot to try a different faction yet. There are warnings everywhere not to do it with the inspiration buff, there are instructions how to do it in the FAQ. Just the one thing I havent figured out is... why?

Badge collection, reward item collection, experience with a different variety of ship, experiencing the different storyline for each squad (did you notice the missions tell astory?). Lot's of different reasons.

Rewards is why I did it. Also because once I hit ace I tend to only look for pvp, so I end up not collecting any loot, so leveling in pilot kinda forces me to pve and collect stuff for REing.

you have a couple options here. first off as a 0100 pilot you can take out tier3s in lok if you have a decent gun and a mk1 computer running weapon overload. since you a previous ace, a tier3 kimo would net you just over 3k xp per kill. you could also go up with someone in their 2-man ship and bust up some tier5 gunboats for 33k xp each; i helped a guy on bria grind out -500k like this.

or you can wait for a csr to reply, which will most likely take longer than you getting the xp yourself.i say you bust up some tier3 kimos in lok. you can walk away with some decent loot as well as the xp.
