Thread: Jabba's Palace Access Mission- Got it at last.

Good News: I got this mission to work
Bad News: I had to drop Pilot and start over for it to happen.
Situation: When 11.3 came I was 2/2/2/2 SA with no ground combat. I had yet to find a friend to fight me through the TP, because I saw the mission note for this patch. When the patch came, I could land at Jabba's but got no mission from the Station Controller no matter what I did.
Solution: With no CSR of Hotfix to assist me, I tried dropping Pilot and doing it over. With a bit of help its a breeze to get back to tier2. The job only got offered to me immediately after I completed my final Tier2 mission and come home to land. I didn't dare refuse. It's confusing, since the job is from Lady Valarian and says nothing about access to Jabba's, be warned. I did the mission (a bounty on someone named Steelrix, in 2 parts) Upon completion I was given cash, and a Blank Pass to Jabba's as well as the permission to land there. I went to Mos Eisley checked out with Talon Karrde, then made a suborbital hop to Jabba's. You sign your name to the pass, then turn it in to the JtL NPC out front. he clears you to enter. The Theme Park NPCs know nothing and won't help you, so just deal with the guy at the outer door.

sounds like this needs to be onced over by the devs for the next patch.
Not everyone has done Jabba's theme park and its kinda unfair to expect them to do so or rely on a modestly bugged system to continue with pilot.
lucky for me, me and jabba are pals and i walked right in... gave Boba the usual /hi5 and it was off to kill things.

I recently dropped Master Rebel Pilot and did the Theme Park Access mission (had already done the themepark but want to get the most out of space). Had no problems with it as it ran pretty well, but have to agree that the title and the fact it is for Lady 'I'm not so pretty' Valarian is confusing

From whom should you get the jabba access mission.... I have completed tier 2 and is told to go to Jabba´s but havent done the themepark...How do I get access without doing the themepark (dont have combat skills)

i tried this (retired my privateer) and started over : this didn't work for me. the tatoine station master is as rude as ever and won't give me any work.

When I did the Emp's Retreat one, I noticed that if you have a mission already, youare not offered the mission from the space station. Just thought I would toss that out there in case it helps someone.

Shamdon's last mission i got after clearing my last tier 2 trainign was to go off to Lok (iirc) and destroy a number of imperial fighters. I went, I saw, I destroyed. At that point i had no mission in my datapad (since i just finished the last one). When landing at the station, the station master was his usual obnoxious self when asking for work so eventually i landed.
Going back to Shamdom, she asks whether i killed them or incapacitated them - i answered truthfully and said they were pushing daisies. Then comes the whole usual spiel about "being too good" and Talon having a death mark from Jabba. Stuck again.

I guess I need to clarify. I meant the mission that gets you your 4th tier2 box, the Escort freighter in Tat space. Sorry for the confusion.

So you have to give up TWO boxes in order to go back and do this? Two pilot boxes vs. sucking up and doing the theme park. Hmmm. Which is worse?

Actually 8 boxes. but they are the easy boxes. And doing the TP isn't simply a matter of "sucking up" for someone with NO ground combat skills (sorry to disillusion you, but they do exist).

The jabba palace missions can be done with level 4 of any novice combat skill. They really are THAT easy. Just certain spots might be a little tough (like the tusken raider and the meat beast) though you could probably find someone who would help you out for an hour to do it.

The patch note about Jabba's access is somewhat confusing : it says the access quest can be done at tier 2.
Actually, not when youachieved 2222. I guess 2221 should do it.
I have no ground combat skill either, gonna get brawler 
Anyway, the ability to surrender a single space skill would be apreciated !

Actually, I got the job just after getting my 3rd Tier 2 box. It's possible that it's a Tier 2.5 mission.
No problems, other than the fact that I had some Tier 4 A-Wings involved...
