anybody knows if there's a way to turn off the taunt screens?

Since my fps drop from 30/20 (depends in lag) to 1 fps everytime it opens and closes making me a sitting duck for 1 to 3 second and losing my target, sometimes I get 3 taunt screen in a row by the time my fps go back to normal my shields are at 50% becuase I was unable to move around for 5 to 6 seconds.

ive been searchign for a way to do this since beta, and asking for the same... GOD they need to do something about it for anyone who doesnt have the best system out there (and theres a lot of us SOE!)

/bump becuase I want a option, not removal, but a option. That way people that are running prestine systems can enjoy it and the rest of us can enjoy not having our target jump a inch...

I run a gf440-mx and the taunt screens dont change my fps AT ALL, you people need to stop running PII's

Actually I have a GForce FX 5800 and an AMD XP Processor... never had a problem with a single game ive played, including the ground game.. It's my lack of ram that is low end, and that's something that faces many people, especially those who cant afford the best.

My SWG Observations

If they stopped the expansions for one year and gave quality revamps to the professions that need it most, many people would resubscribe.
With all the resubs, and the new players, there would then be plenty of money to hire enough people to do 2-4 quality revamps per year plus 1-2 larger expansions per year and/or 2-4 smaller expansions per year, and not give the BigWigs a pay cut. (Possibly even an increase)

I got the same problem, and I run a high-end system.

heck, I even got 3.5gb mem.

Every time I get taunt screen and text spammed on screen, FPS drop.
