Thread: Droid Programming bug.. anyone know a workaround?

I have both and never had this problem. Double check your droid and make sure it has a pilot rating would be the first step.

He doesn't have a pilot rating, but I just thought that's because he doesn't have any programs yet.

If he doesnt list a piloting cert level in his datapad entry, then he was not built with a Data Storage module. Just having an astromech chassis isnt enough, it needs the correct module for program storage.

I bought both a Flight Computer and an Astromech, and I went to the trouble of collecting some ready chips from the other factions. So, I program the Flight Computer as usual.. no problem.
When I go to program the astromech, it brings up the program screen for the flight computer. Adding and removing programs affects the flight computer, and so far, nothing I can do affects the Astromech at all.
Is there any way to get around this?
