Thread: Yavin 4 Recover Stolen Weapons Shipment Jabba's Space Mission

Hi all. Had a quick question for ya all. I'm a neutral space pilot and just got to doing missions for Jabba. The first mission for him involves disabling a freighter and taking out it's fighter escort. I've done both but the mission never updates. Now I've tried docking with the ship but get denied. I've tried inspecting it and it says there is nothing. Have I failed to do something here or is the mission bugged? Could really use your help on this one.
p.s. There are no other waypoints I need to go to.

I have done this one with a friend yesterday and it was the same. It his a bug and you should report it quickly.

It's not bugged (that i know of). I just completed it yesterday.
You actually have to target the ships engines by pressing the left( "[" )or right ( "]" )bracket keys to cycle through the ships subsystems. Then when you shoot, you'll disable the targeted subsystem (engines in this case) and the mission will move to the next stage, escorting the freighter.

Aaaha! I didn't know you could target parts of a ship. Great! Many thanks for the info.

I have also recently done this mission, disabled the engines and nothing happened, have found on some of the disable missions you also need to take out the reactor.
