I am tier 2 Rebel Pilot. I was wondering if I need a seperate droid for each different lvl I am Certed for ? I was told you can't put all the different lvl mods in one droids cause it will only recognize the highest lvl. Also can I use a flight comp instead of a Astromech? Thanks for any help.

Your best bet it to use the highest level droid/computer you are certed for. The only real difference is the amount of programs it can hold.Level 4 overload programs take up more space than level 1 programs.

As far as i know you can mix and match droid programs in the same droid. Ive not had any problem at all doing this.

Flight computers work the same as droids. The only difference is that some ships can use one, other ships can use the other type... for example... An X-wing can only use a droid, but an A-wing can only use a computer.

A level 4 certification is plenty for the programs I use (WO3, WCO3, EO3, RO3, CtSS3 (which I could probably trade out for 4)). With the overload programs, there's no reason to use less that the 3s (storage allowing) and the 4s do permanent damage (unless you have access to Deep Space). I never found the shield programs all that useful once I had CtSS and WCO, and a really good capacitor - if you can either shift energy from one shield to the other, or add more energy to the shields, you're probably better off adding more energy and not risking a hit from the other side.
