I decided that I should change from neutral to Rebel pilot. Thinking I could still manage my ships to remove sub-systems, I dropped my Neutral pilot skills. Now it seems I cannot even manage my ships.. is there any way around it so that I can get my weapons and subsystems back and re-deed the ship?

Yes! You can...rejoin the Neutral faction.

Lots of people have reported luck with CSRs, although these days it may take a ticket or two before you get a good CSR. Tell them exactly what happened and exactly what you need done, and cross your fingers.

Are you a pilot and not using Droid Commands?

I would hope not.

This is the same as a CL1 person going out and getting killed and wanting the wounds removed by a CSR. There is a viable way for you to do it.....just join..strip and redeed and leave again. If you don't WANT to do that...then I would hope a CSR wouldn't do it.

You don't seem to understand the situation. If I leave a YT-1300 ot Krayt, for example, generated and equipped and then resign my Freelance status without remembering to re-deed them, I can not Manage the ships. That much is obvious, but getting Freelance Novice will not let me Manage the ships, either. You can not Manage a ship that you are not certed for, so I would be unable to Manage the ships unless I re-aquired Freelance Master. That seems like a nasty price to pay for a mistake that the system did let me make (though my Recruiter probably warned me about it if I bothered to read what s/he said). Many people have had CSRs unequip and re-deed ships, including myself, with all components and deeds placed into the players' inventories.
